Steve is our Company President and keeps very busy trying to keep things exciting for our customers. He works hard to find the best merchandise at the best possible prices for you. He also travels the country to various jewelry shows to keep our inventory current with the latest styles in jewelry. Steve has completed the Diamonds and Diamond Grading courses through the Gemological Institute of America. He has served on the Lapeer Downtown Development Authority, Lapeer County Sheriff's Department, Family Literacy Center Board of Directors, the Board of Directors for McLaren Home Healthcare, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Lapeer Kiwanis Club.
| Cathy has been with Lapeer Gold and Diamond since day one in 1998. As our Bookkeeper and Office Manager, you might not have much contact with her, but she is on top of it all. If you have a problem or concern or just need someone to point you in a direction, Cathy will make sure to put a smile on your face and a cup of coffee in your hand. But then it gets down to business, because Cathy takes her job very seriously and no buts about it she will get the job done. When Cathy isn't organizing or problem-solving at Lapeer Gold and Diamond, she is somewhere with her children, being the super mom that she is. |

Mark has been with us since 2000. Mark is a talented goldsmith and designer. He loves people and is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. His patience and expertise will delight you as he designs the best and repairs the rest. Mark studied Laser Welding in Rhode Island to perfect his craft. When Mark isn't working on jewelry, he likes to go camping and play golf (which he is also great at), but most of all being with his family.
| Amy came to us in 2005. When it's time to create a new piece of jewelry, Amy is your gal. Amy studied design in Toronto and utilizes Digital Goldsmith, a software that allows the consumer to have input throughout the design process. Amy also has completed her Diamonds and Diamond Grading course through the Gemological Institute of America. When not busy helping customers realize their jewelry dreams, Amy is our quality control inspector, overseeing every piece of jewelry and every repair that leaves our store. |

Mort became part of Lapeer Gold and Diamond in 2005. With more than 47 years of experience, you may already know him. Mort closed his store in Flint a few years back and looks forward to seeing his previous customers here. Not many days go by without one of his customers from Flint making the short drive to Lapeer. When you need a jewelry question answered, be sure to check with Mort! When he's not working, Mort enjoys bettering the community and playing golf.
| Julie has been with us since 2006. One of her first experiences with us was attending a jewelry trade show and the included educational seminars. She has grown in her product knowledge and is now our Beaded Jewelry expert. Julie has been an Ambassador of the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce and is a Kiwanis member. When not at work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, likes to camp and fish, and even puts the worm on her own hook! |

Carol is the newest member of our staff, joining us in February, 2009. You probably won't find a friendlier face in Lapeer. She's served Lapeer County for more than seventeen years in Real Estate and Carol was the top producer in her office for more than a dozen of those years. While she is new to jewelry, she's not new to finding just the right fit for her customers. When she's not engrossed in her jewelry education, Carol hopes to still find time for music, poetry and her flowers, and oh yes, her hubby too!
